Evolution 2 Support Bearings – "Daily Stance – Basic Motorsport"
The Evolution 2 support bearings from MTS Technik are the latest generation of our upper support bearings, developed under the motto "Daily Stance – Basic Motorsport." This product combines sporty features (increased stiffness, new Uniball bearing, angle adjustment) with high everyday usability (spring plate with ball bearing) and an aesthetic design in black and Gold, as required for show cars.
Function and advantages of the support bearings
Our MTS Technik support bearings offer different functions depending on the application, which are described in detail in the product card. Here is an overview of the main functions and their advantages:

35% larger Uniball bearing
The upper shock mount is the most heavily loaded suspension component. The reinforced Uniball bearing from MTS Technik has been specially developed and is 35% larger than the previous generation. It has been extensively tested to guarantee maximum load capacity and durability. The bearing is made of chrome-plated bearing steel and stainless steel and features a PTFE insert for smooth operation and noise reduction.
Angular ball bearings in the spring plates – new!
Our angular ball bearings in the spring plates guarantee less stress on the structure and increase comfort. This innovation eliminates spring "bouncing" and ensures a smoother riding experience.
Precise camber and caster adjustment
Significant lowering of the vehicle can change the angle of the wheels relative to the ground. MTS Technik support bearings allow precise adjustment of camber and caster angles, optimizing the chassis setup for motorsports or everyday use.
Supplement for use with coilover suspensions
MTS Technik support bearings complement the range of coilover suspensions by enabling more precise steering and optimal adjustment of the wheel arch line. They are also compatible with coilover suspensions from other manufacturers and offer additional scope for lowering.
Additional lowering and aesthetic design
MTS Technik support bearings allow for additional lowering of the vehicle while offering an elegant, sporty design. The black and gold anodized aluminum looks robust and high-quality, while the laser-engraved MTS Technik logo rounds off the product's appearance.
Lightweight and durable materials
Our support bearings are made of anodized aluminum that has been milled on precision CNC machines. This ensures high corrosion resistance, low weight, and an attractive appearance. In addition, our proprietary "Inox Easy Slide" camber angle adjustment system offers effortless adjustment, even under adverse conditions.
